"Night at the Races Beefsteak" Bound to Be a Winner for DASACC

Jockey on Race Horse

“Night at the Races Beefsteak,” features an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner, five professionally narrated horse races on a large screen, and opportunities to place bets for a chance to win one of over 30 exciting prize baskets at this year’s annual fundraiser for The Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County (DASACC).

“With every hoof beat, we propel ourselves toward a safer future for survivors of domestic violence. It promises to be an evening filled with pulse-pounding races, beefsteak – a New Jersey culinary tradition – and, most importantly, a chance to rally behind a meaningful cause. Let's unite in support, creating ripples of change while reveling in the thrill of cheering on our favorite equine contenders. We extend a heartfelt invitation for you to be a part of it all,” said Isela Arras, Executive Director of DASACC.

“Night at the Races” takes place at the Independence Firehouse, located at 24 Cemetery Road, Great Meadows Friday, April 19. Doors open at 6 p.m., with races kicking off at 7:30 p.m.

“We're looking forward to hosting the community for our Night at the Races fundraising event in Great Meadows. It's always such fun, with great food and a fun atmosphere,” commented Lori Knerr, President of the DASACC Board of Directors. “Where else can you have a fun dinner with your friends, enthusiastically cheer on your horse, and have a chance to win baskets with great prizes.”

Tickets are $55, along with sponsorships that include naming your horse and being entered for a chance to win one of three grand prizes. For further details and ticket purchases, please visit DASACC's website, www.dasacc.org.
