Baroque Christmas Music with Harmonia Chamber Players

Friday, December 21, 2018 - 7:30pm

The Harmonia Chamber Players will perform Vivadi's "Winter" and other Baroque Christmas Music. Soloists of the virtuoso string ensemble are Garry Ianco, Victor Costanzi, and Carolyn Cole, violins. All are renowned soloists from New Jersey and the New York area.

The concert will include Corelli's Christmas Concerto, Bach's Double Violin Concerto, Christmas favorites and Vivaldi's 'Winter' from the Four Seasons (from L'Estro harmonico), a 'must do' on the first day of winter. Mr. Ianco has performed the Vivaldi work previously in Warren County with Strawchurch Sinfonia in 2010, a performance with many accolades.

The Harmonia Chamber Players was established in 2003 by Elizabeth Kalfayan and Darla Coolman to bring together the finest musicians in the Tri-State area for chamber music performances in intimate settings. Since 2003 the Harmonia Chamber Players have presented over 500 performances in varied chamber music and orchestral settings.

The concert is FREE but a good will donation may be left upon entering.

This concert is presented by the Performing Arts Society of Western New Jersey and sponsored by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
