Centenary University Free Lecture: Theatrical Make-Up for Novice Halloween Face Painting Artists to Aspiring Performers

The world of Vampires and Zombies will come alive, featuring hands-on instruction in theatrical make-up for novice Halloween face painting artists to aspiring performers. Participants in the fun and free workshop will learn to transform their face with the magic of theatrical makeup. During the 60 minute workshop participants will learn some of the basics of makeup application with regard to trauma simulation with applications into the world of vampires and zombies.
Stephen Davis will take students through some of the basics of application, with a lucky few individuals able to walk out of the class transformed into the world of the “walking dead”. Additional theatrical makeup application techniques (old age, fantasy, animals) may be explored depending on time.
