Want to play a game? A new mystery will be announced each Monday. An item has mysteriously disappeared from a business in Washington Borough! The businesses are calling on residents to help find the missing item and solve the mystery. Clues will be available at participating businesses in Washington Borough. A list of participating businesses will be available. Simply walk into a participating business, and request a clue. Each business will have one clue for each weekly mystery. Players must gather clues from participating businesses, and answer the questions Who, Why, and Where (described below). The weekly winner will be randomly chosen from entries containing the correct answers.
A new mystery will be announced each Monday throughout October. Dates for each week will be:
Week 3 October 14-20
Week 4 October 21-27
Week 5 October 28-31
Each weekly mystery will be announced on Monday, on Facebook, and also with a flyer available at participating shops in Washington Borough.
Dates on this Facebook "event" reflect the start date of each new weekly mystery.
Entry solutions can be dropped off at Washington Candy Closet (63 East Washington Ave) throughout the week, with a deadline of Sunday at 6pm. The weekly winner will be randomly chosen from all entries with the correct solutions to the weekly mystery. Entries must include the answers to the questions:
Who? (Who is responsible for the disappearance of the item?)
Why? (What reason did the responsible party have to take the item?)
Where? (Where is the missing item now?)
Entries must also include the entrant’s name and phone number.
A Grand Prize winner will be randomly chosen after October 31. To be entered into the Grand Prize drawing, entrants must have correctly solved each weekly mystery, for all 5 weeks.
