Tour de Blairstown

Saturday, October 5, 2019 -
7:00am to 3:30pm

Rolling hills, farmland vistas, the Appalachian Ridge, Paulinskill Valley Rail Trail, and a town of proud heritage all come together in one tremendous cycling event. Blairstown is just 1.25 hours from NYC and Philadelphia and 7 miles off I-80, Exit 12. Locals have always known that Blairstown, NJ, boasts some of the best cycling on the East Coast. Now they’re ready to share it with YOU.

This year we offer your choice of 3 NEW rides:  22-mile, 40-mile, 65-mile with fewer hills, more breathtaking views. This is a charity bike ride: 100% of proceeds benefit nonprofit Foodshed Alliance, advocates for sustainable farming, local food access, and healthy environment. The ride is organized by Marty's Reliable Cycle.

All rides start and end at the Blairstown Farmers' Market at 5 Stillwater Road, Blairstown, NJ 07825 (across from the Blairstown Elementary School). All routes are marked, cue sheets provided, rest stops along the way and SAG wagon support. Port-a-johns are available at start/finish and at rest stops. Continental breakfast will be set up at the start. Lunch after the ride is included in your registration fee, and includes complimentary craft beer.

All registered riders will receive $5 gift card to spend that day at the Blairstown Farmers’ Market, Windy Brow Farms, or Buck Hill Brewery.

Check-in for registered riders opens on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 7am and closes at 9am. The 62-mile and 40-mile rides leave at 8am and the 25-mile ride leaves at 8:30am. Minors 18 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Following the ride, you will have the opportunity to shop at the Blairstown Farmers' Market and enjoy your lunch.

Online registration will be open until 8pm on October 4. On-site registration will be $75 and we will accept cash, checks or credit cards.

Organized by Marty's Reliable Cycle to benefit the Foodshed Alliance, the Tour de Blairstown is sponsored by the Blairstown Rotary Club, the Greater Blairstown Business Association, Buck Hill Brewery, BMW of Newton. It is supported by the Blairstown Enhancement Committee, YMCA Camp Mason, Community Supported Garden at Genesis Farm, Township of Stillwater and Triple Brook Camping Resort.
