NEW & EXTENDED TOURS FOR DELAWARE RIVER RAILROAD EXCURSIONS START MAY 6

Delaware River Railroad Excursions is introducing the River Train, brand new for 2023, and continuing the Wine Train tours with a destination of Riegelsville, NJ starting May 6. You can choose from one of four times for train departure from Phillipsburg for a 2-hour round trip, stopping at the beautifully restored train station in Riegelsville.

In Riegelsville, you can explore the area, visit Villa Milagro Vineyards, and have a bite to eat at Hootz Tavern, or walk across the 1904 bridge built by the wire rope and engineering firm of John A. Roebling's Sons Co. to Riegelsville, PA, where you'll find the Riegelsville Inn.

Learn about the railroad, the 1950s restored train cars and the historic equipment used by the Delaware River Railroad Excursions from a DRRE docent. As always, the Gem Mine is available as an add-on.

The Delaware River, which originates in New York state, runs along the Pennsylvania-New York, New Jersey-Pennsylvania, and New Jersey-Delaware borders on its way to the Atlantic ocean. The Delaware is a major river in the eastern United States and one of the cleanest.
