Warren County to Host Two Raritan River Music Festival Concerts

Raritan River Music Festival announces their 33rd annual concert series throughout the month of May, with two of the four shows held at Blue Army Shrine and Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Warren County.

“Spring is in the air and a sense of renewal awaits our return to the immediacy of the festival’s historic concert venues including Prallsville Mills, Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church, Stanton Reformed Church and Blue Army Shrine,” Laura Oltman, co-founding director of Raritan River Music commented, and added the venues this year showcase the beauty of Warren and Hunterdon counties.

RRMF performers and composers hail from around the world including South America, Europe, Asia, Canada and the United States, including our very own state of New Jersey.

“In a world where artistic categories are often so narrowly defined, we are excited to offer a wide range of musical programs, crossing myriad stylistic boundaries,” Michael Newman, co-founding director of Raritan River Music remarked.

This year’s performers include the Bergamot String Quartet, 9 Horses, fiddler Eileen Ivers with her band unIVERSal Roots, and the Newman and Oltman Guitar Duo featuring Yenne Lee, Hannah Murphy, and Phil Goldenberg. Tickets can be purchased for an in-person or online video streaming concert experience.

The mission and goals of Raritan River Music are to create our cultural heritage today, to keep music alive, and to bring the music to you. In addition to the festival, Raritan River Music continues to provide innovative enrichment presentations to school and health care facilities throughout the region.
