Starting August 11, 2021

"I have a love affair with tomatoes and corn. I remember them from my childhood. I only had them in the summer. They were extraordinary." - Alice Waters, American chef, restaurateur, activist, and author.

The Explore Warren team shares this love of tomatoes, which can offer a refreshing respite from the current heat wave. Find yourself a perfect, beautifully ripe Jersey Fresh tomato - our lead photo is pilfered from Race Farm's Facebook page - and no seasoning or embellishment is required. Corn is plentiful throughout the county and at its peak! And don't forget sunflowers - see the More Things To Do section for a cut-your-own opportunity to brighten your space with one of these beauties. Stay cool, and Happy Wanderings!
