Warren County Wanderings

Starting August 14, 2019

“Cooking and eating food outdoors makes it taste infinitely better than the same meal prepared and consumed indoors.” - Fennel Hudson, rural lifestyle & countryside author

If you agree with the statement above, you will have a field day (pun intended) with this week's events! Find out about two elegant al fresco dinner offerings - with a third to follow next week - as well as more casual, food truck options that await you this weekend in Warren County! Luscious Jersey Fresh produce is so abundant; it was hard to decide on a cover photo (tomatoes? corn? peaches?), but we happened upon the beautiful blackberries Donaldson Farms posted to its Facebook page just the other day and looked no further. Pick your own!

And if you've been meaning to take in a free community outdoor concert, please make the effort before summer slips away, as they will disappear in another three or four weeks. But let's not end on a negative! There's still plenty of summer ahead, and all the great stuff that goes along with it. Bon appetit, and Happy Wanderings!
