Warren County Wanderings

Starting August 23, 2017

"You can be in terrible shape, and if you take a three-hour walk through the forest and along the river, you're simply not the same as when you started out." - Jim Harrison, American writer.

The weather looks great for this weekend - how much longer will we be able to say that? - and there are plenty of things to do. You'll find ideas when you read ahead; you also can find a forest or river or trail for a walk or paddle on the Warren Parks website or on the website of New Jersey's State Parks, Forests and Historic Sites. For instance, you'll find Stephens State Park near Hackettstown, where this photo of the Musconetcong River was taken. So read on, then find your bliss. Happy Wanderings!
