Warren County Wanderings

Starting January 25, 2017

"Blow, blow, ye winds, with heavier gust! And freeze, thou bitter-biting frost! Descend, ye chilly, smothering snows!" - from A Winter Night, by Robert Burns

Actually, the weather report doesn't look too bad for the next few days and the weekend: Chilly, although no smothering snows are expected. But in honor of the 258th birthday today of Scotland's great poet, we bring you a bit of his poetry with a reminder that it IS winter, and the weather could turn at any time, so take advantage of whatever opportunities you can find to get out there and wander. After all, "the best-laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft agley" as Burns wrote (translation: plans can often go astray), so carpe diem, and Happy Wanderings!
