Nunsense begins when the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show, so they take over the school auditorium, which is currently set up for the eighth grade production of “Grease.” Here we meet Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer; Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of Novices; a streetwise nun from Brooklyn named Sister Robert Anne; Sister Mary Leo, a novice who is a wannabe ballerina; and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia, the nun who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head. Featuring star turns, tap and ballet dancing, an audience quiz, and comic surprises, this show has become an international phenomenon.

Warren History Museums Open

Warren County's two museums at Morris Canal sites are both open for the afternoon. Journey underground on a guided tour through the 165-foot tailrace tunnel into the turbine chamber, and see other canal artifacts in the museum. Meanwhile, the Warren Heritage Museum at Bread Bread Lock Park also is open, featuring displays that interpret history along the Warren Heritage Scenic Byway. Shippen Manor, the restored 18th century iron master’s mansion, is located 1/4 mile west of the Route 31/Wall Street intersection in Oxford, on Belvidere Avenue.

Washington Farmers Market

The Farmers’ Market offers quality fruits and vegetables as well as specialty items with special events throughout the season. The weekly farmers’ market takes place every Saturday through the end of October, from 10am-2pm. This week it's music with Louis Garzon.

Free Concerts at the Warren County Farmers' Fair

This year's 82nd annual Fair is just around the corner, so make your plans to attend and mark your calendar for the three free concerts: Adam Yarger and Lenny Martelli on July 28; Bobby Clark and the "Play It Hard" Band on August 2; and Leah Marie Fuls - winner of the fair's Country Idol contest four years ago - with band on August 3. Class is full! Fly Fishing 103 at Pequest Trout Hatchery

This is an advanced fly fishing class. Grab your waders and test all you have learned with a two-hour session on fly selection, reading the water and tempting trout along the Pequest Trout Conservation Area. Waders, license and trout stamp are required. Flies, equipment and terminal tackle will be provided. No prior class necessary.
