"Live music is the cure for what ails ya." - Henry Rollins (American musician, actor, writer)

This week kicks off the free summer music series in two more places, Phillipsburg tomorrow and Shippen Manor in Oxford this Sunday, joining tonight's latest offering in the Lopatcong Music in the Park series that started last week. There are bands scheduled to keep your toes tapping all summer long! Read on for information about this week's shows, and click to see the whole Shippen Manor Lawn Concert schedule here. Today's lead photo to get you in a musical mood is of Taylor Galassi and John Wentz from the band This Way to the Egress when they played Shippen Manor last summer; they'll be back in August. Don't forget Father's Day this Sunday! We've got some great ideas of things to do with dear ol' Dad! Meanwhile, congratulations to Carol Jones of Stewartsville, NJ, who entered our contest at last Saturday's ParkFest @ Bread Lock Park and won a pair of tickets to see the Centenary Stage Company production of the musical Hair this summer. Keep your eyes open for more contests in the future! Happy Father's Day, and Happy Wanderings!
