Warren County Wanderings

Starting June 23, 2021

“If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water.” - Loren Eiseley

It’s about time for a good lake photo. Water is an element that sparkles, beckons us to the edge and cleanses our souls. Drawn by her love of water, Warren County resident Erin Burnett took this week's Wanderings photo at White Lake while cruising around on her paddle board.

While you are checking out White Lake, walk across the street to the Vass House having live music and house tours Friday evening. Enjoy a stroll through Pohatcong History and Heritage Society's gardens or create a 4th of July craft at Tranquillity Farms brunch. Music fills the air at many of the wineries and bands will rock the house at the breweries.

Check out TimeWhys recreating hits from the ‘60s tonight at the weekly Loptacong Music in the Park. The Strawberry moon will rise tomorrow night so celebrate with a hike at the Dark Moon Preserve hosted by Ridge and Valley Conservancy.

It’s officially summer and the weekend looks to be filled with warm temperatures and sun. Get out and explore and Happy Wanderings!
