Starting June 5, 2019 | Explore Warren

Starting June 5, 2019

"Complete strangers can stand silent next to each other in an elevator and not even look each other in the eye. But at a concert, those same strangers could find themselves dancing and singing together like best friends. That's the power of music." - LZ Granderson, (journalist and former actor, b. 1972)

The summer music season is upon us! Free concerts abound throughout Warren County, kicking off with a blast tonight with Big Easy Easton Brass (pictured) at the Lopatcong Music in the Park series and Friday with Brass Roots at the Hackettstown Concert Series. Shippen Manor Summer Lawn Concert Series in Oxford opens with The Lost Ramblers on June 16, the Phillipsburg Summer Concert Series with Johnny’s Jukebox on June 27, and the Ramsaysburg Summer Music in the Park in Knowlton with Sycamore Banjo Band on June 29. And there's plenty of music all day Saturday at the free ParkFest @ Bread Lock Park. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets, pack your picnics, and enjoy the many musical offerings available to you! You'll find them all just a click away on the Explore Warren Calendar. Also available are strawberries! Find this weekend's strawberry festivals when you read on, or click to the Farms, Farm Markets and Pick-Your-Own pages. Happy Wanderings!
