Ah, yes, Spring! Even with this back-and-forth weather, the season is making our hearts sing! And our song is about all the things you can do in the next few days. Community farmers markets are opening for the season, there are open houses and grand openings, lots of music and culture and outdoor happenings are in store. Then there are events you can put on your calendar for next weekend or even later in the summer. So read on, don't miss the "Plan Ahead" section, and enjoy! Centenary University Lecture Series: Raising Readers

Did you know that children “who are read to at least three times a week are almost twice as likely to score in the top 25 percent in reading than children read to less than three times a week?” The House of the Good Shepherd is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor for the Centenary Speaker Series, held each month at Rutherfurd Hall.
