Warren History Museums Open

Warren Heritage Museum at Bread Lock Park and Shippen Manor are open for the afternoon. The Warren Heritage Museum recently acquired a Cornish organ (pictured) and piano as well as an Allegar organ, which are all on display at the museum. Shippen Manor, the restored 18th century iron master’s mansion, will offer tours of both floors. Parking is limited and visitors are encouraged to park on nearby Washington Avenue; Handicapped parking is available at the Manor. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.

Upright bassist Dave Post gathered his jazz and blues playing friends together to play engagements in New York City, and the group has continued with gigs at festivals and events up and down the East Coast and beyond. Swingadelic CDs have been in the JazzWeek Radio charts Top 30 and garnered critical acclaim; their latest ZOHO release Mercerville is a collection of songs written by the legendary Johnny Mercer.
