Celebrate the shortest day of the year with a relaxing stroll on MWA’s Education Trail. Learn about the history and science behind the winter solstice, and then warm up in the River Resource Center with some light refreshments.
This event is appropriate for adults and children of all ages, and is best of all, it's free! The trail is mostly flat, and the walk will be under 2 miles long. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Meet us at MWA's River Resource Center (10 Maple Ave, Asbury, NJ 08802) about 5-10 minutes early. You may park at the River Resource Center, at the start of the Education Trail (next to the RRC), or at the Asbury Mill (across the street).
Musconetcong Watershed Association
The Musconetcong Watershed Association leads hiking and paddling trips and hosts River Talks on a wide variety of topics. We have a 4 Mile Run/Walk for the River the first Sunday in May and a Wine Tasting Event along the River the first Saturday in October.
