Frolic in the Fields through May 3

"Resilience is all about being able to overcome the unexpected. Sustainability is about survival. The goal of resilience is to thrive." - Jamais Cascio, American author and futurist

While the freezing temps earlier this week were not unexpected, it presented a challenge to the horticulturally-inclined. We hope strategies to protect vulnerable plantings were successful, and that they will survive and thrive. Our wineries weren't so lucky, so show them a little extra love. Besides, there is just a week left to complete your Warren County Grains & Grapes Trail Passport to get your custom tote bag and get in on the grand prize drawing for a Yeti cooler provided by LOST Goods and Gear of Belvidere, filled with $600 worth of gift cards!

This is Earth Week, and we are here for it! Our beautiful cover photo is courtesy of Donaldson Farms - Farm Market, which is now open for the season and celebrating its 120th anniversary! Talk about surviving and thriving!

We encourage you to celebrate Mother Earth this week, which may include visiting the Community Center @ Belvidere and patronizing participating businesses throughout the Town of Belvidere to pick up seed packets, and/or checking out the Go Green With Hope event, both on April 25. If you go to Hope, please stop by our table and say hello!

Centenary Stage Company presents Little Women the Broadway Musical, which reminds us to congratulate Eileen M. of Westfield, who earlier this month won tickets to "The Niceties," which she said was "Thought-provoking, performed beautifully and left an impression." CSC productions never disappoint!

And we'd never forget the Moms out there and those who want to plan something special for her so take a look at our Mother's Day event page!

We could go on and on, but without further ado, Happy Earth Day and Happy Wanderings!
