“That's the thing with handmade items. They still have the person's mark on them, and when you hold them, you feel less alone.” - “The Color Master” by American novelist Aimee Bender

Don’t feel alone, Wanderers! If you appreciate the exceptional beauty and value of handmade crafts, and are on the lookout for unique gift ideas, Warren County is THE place to be this weekend! Browse and shop to your heart’s content at any – or all – of the three craft shows featured in this issue. This week’s cover photo is courtesy of Heart’s Content, one of the crafters participating in the Hope Christmas Craft Market. If you have an urge to create crafts yourself, you will find opportunities to do that, too (kids and adults).

In other news, Santa will be making appearances all over the county in the coming days, including flying in on a plane and riding on a mini train! This, in addition to the more conventional fire truck approach (Washington Borough), in a parade (Hackettstown), at breakfast (Mountain Lake), and more!

While this issue is packed with holiday-themed events and activities, that’s not all there is, so read on!

Happy Craft Crawling, Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate, and - as always - Happy Wanderings!
