Starting February 21, 2018 | Explore Warren

Starting February 21, 2018

"Late February, and the air's so balmy snowdrops and crocuses might be fooled into early blooming. Then, the inevitable blizzard will come, blighting our harbingers of spring, and the numbed yards will go back undercover." - Gail Mazur, author and poet

Snow one day, thaw the next - which way are those snow geese heading in this photo by Kent Sweigert? Well, they're lingering in Warren County right now, at Merrill Creek Reservoir and other places, and it's always an impressive sight to see thousands of them congregating. Meanwhile, Saturday night is comedy night here in Warren County, with two, count 'em TWO fundraisers featuring comedians, plus lots of other music, theater, artistic and recreational events happening. Plus, there's still time to sign up for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share. So read on, faithful Wanderers! Happy Wanderings!
