The 21st Annual two-day yard sale includes Blairstown and the surrounding area.
Applications for inclusion on the map, which will include addresses and a small outline of items for sale, can be obtained at the Blairstown Post Office, Acme, Catherine Dickson Hofman Library, Hope Bank, and Blairstown Town Hall. This year a "Surrounding Area" inclusion will be offered. Details of where the sales are being held, including main and cross streets, will be provided by the seller and will be noted in the description.
Maps will be on sale in the ACME lobby and RE/MAX Ridge, Main St., Blairstown, Friday, September 15 (9am-6pm) and Saturday, September 16 (8:30am-3pm) or until maps are sold out.
The Blair Woman's Club, which recently celebrated its 90th Anniversary in 2017, uses proceeds from all of its fund-raising endeavors, including the yard sale applications and maps, for three scholarships to seniors graduating from North Warren Regional High School, local Wounded Warriors, VA hospitals, and many community charities such as local food pantries, ambulance corps and the library.
