The Young Performers Workshop is dedicated to the enrichment of young lives through experience in the theatre arts, and serves as a venue for cultivating young theatre performers between the ages of eight and 18.
This performance features multiple works of classic film star Charlie Chaplin and comes to life in these pantomime-dance depictions. The selection includes the silent masterpiece “The Kid” about a little tramp who discovers a little orphan and brings him up but is left desolate when the orphanage reclaims him. This play has been choreographed and adapted by program director, Michael Blevins.
