The Lost Ramblers will open the Shippen Manor concert series in June. They are an authentic Appalachian bluegrass and old-timey band who have been performing regionally and nationally for over 30 years.
Bring lawn chairs or a blanket, pack a picnic if you like, and relax and enjoy a variety of live musical performances happening Sunday evenings on the lawn of Shippen Manor. Rain or Shine.
Shippen Manor is located just west of Route 31 in Oxford. This concert series is presented by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Affairs Division of Land Preservation, supported by the Warren County Board of County Commissioners, and is funded in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. Concerts at Shippen Manor are open to all, with limited reserved accessible parking and lavatories available.
Shippen Manor
Shippen Manor is a c.1754 iron master’s residence built by Dr. William Shippen, Sr. The Shippens were socially prominent members of a wealthy Philadelphia family. The museum offers guided tours on the 1st and 2nd Sundays from May to December, except on holidays.
