Washington Borough’s Second Saturdays Art Walk at 5 East Art Gallery and M Galleries. 5 East Art Gallery’s featured artists are the women artists of Altered Sisterhood of Clinton. The group will present a romantic exhibition in mixed media throughout the month of February. M Galleries featured exhibition is entitled “Fast and Slow” which will feature the works of selected students comprised of new paintings that were created during the last semester. Each student will feature one large scale painting created during one class session (the fast) and one small scale which was worked on throughout the semester (the slow).The purpose of this work is for students to investigate both spontaneity and intentionality.
