WCARTS will host artist Anju Saran at their May 11th meeting. Anju has been drawn to art ever since she was a little child. She has gained expertise in various mediums such as Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor, Pastel and Charcoal. Her paintings have appeared in numerous exhibitions in New Jersey, New York, Florida, Singapore and India, and brought her recognition and awards. Anju’s cartoons and illustrations have appeared in newspapers and magazines. Art is her passion and she specializes in Portraiture painting and does commissioned work. Anju owns an art center ‘Artistic Kreations’ in Morris Plains where she teaches art to children and adults of all skill levels. In addition, she teaches at Morris County Art Association (MCAA), Morristown. Anju has created her method of teaching art in a way that her students love to come back to her for more and more. She is also a graphic designer and an illustrator.

The meeting will be held at 7pm, Thursday, May 11 in the Oxford Township Municipal building, 11 Green Street, Oxford, NJ 07863. The public is welcome and are encouraged to bring paper, a sketchpad, or materials of choice to draw/sketch with. Refreshments will be served. There will be a $3 fee for non-members wishing to participate.
