Shippen Manor Virtual Concert: Dune Grass

This week's virtual Lawn Concert features Dune Grass, an energetic, traditional bluegrass band with a twist! Formed in 2015, this was originally comprised of Ken Zimmer (upright bass), Lorie Quinn (mandolin), RoseAnne Davis (fiddle), Peggy Gaber-Casey (fiddle), and Bob Casey (guitar).  After playing together for a short time, Ken’s life long friends and previous Mountainside band mates, Bob Gelormine (guitar/banjo) and Jerry Eckhoff (guitar) joined Dune Grass rounding out the sound and adding their beautiful harmonies. These virtual concerts are offered in lieu of the annual Lawn Concert Series that was sidelined in the COVID-19 pandemic. The Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of the Department of Land Preservation, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, invites you to enjoy online concerts by the bands that were scheduled to perform.
