Morris Canal Bread Lock Park is open daily until dusk, but the Warren County History Museum on site is open the second Sunday of the month, with models and displays of County history with emphasis on the Morris Canal, Lenape Indians, Shippen Manor, Oxford Furnace and Thomas Edison's businesses that were here.

Roomful of Blues at Roy's Hall

Even though Roomful's lineup has changed over the years, the band has always been one of the tightest, most joyful blues ensembles in the world. Currently an eight-piece unit led by guitarist Chris Vachon, the band has never sounded fresher or stronger. Their winning combination of jump, swing, blues, R&B and soul remains their calling card, as does their ability to fill the dance floor.

Uncle Floyd To Appear in Oxford

Uncle Floyd Vivino, a longtime television performer as well as on radio, stage and screen, is considered a New Jersey icon. He'll perform on his guitar and deliver a variety of his comedy monologues at Oxford Colonial United Methodist Church. Free, but space is limited and pre-registration is required. Later, between 2:30-4pm, tours of Shippen Manor will be conducted, and there will be a family-style ham dinner at the church at 4:30pm ($12/adult, $6/child).

Disney's Newsies The Musical: A Family Holiday Spectacular

Centenary Stage Company's production of Disney's NEWSIES The Musical opens Friday and continues with shows through Dec. 10. It's New York City 1899 and Jack Kelly and his ragtag of newsboys make a meager living selling newspapers on the city streets. But when the prices of papers are hiked and the newsies are hung out to dry, there is nothing left to do but "open the gates and seize the day"! It's this holiday season's toe-tapping extravaganza!
